Charles Neville to Join Brother on Stage
TAYLOR, Mich., Nov. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Legendary New Orleans soul and R&B singer Aaron Neville is coming to metro Detroit to warm the holiday stage at the WCCCD Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center in Taylor Wednesday, December 7th. The performance is part of a national tour that will take Neville and his quintet from coast to coast performing fan favorites and holiday classics.
The holiday performance will feature Neville's brother Charles on saxophone. Aaron, Charles, Art and Cyril Neville have recorded and toured extensively as "The Neville Brothers." This is Neville's fifth-annual Christmas tour, but his first time to come to the Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center stage.
"We're proud to present Aaron Neville, a legendary recording artist, on our stage," said WCCCD Downriver Campus President Anthony T. Arminiak. "His Christmas performances incorporate well-known classics, as well as gospel, jazz and R&B favorites. Combined with the warm, intimate experience our theatre allows, Neville's Christmas concert will be a 'can't miss' event."
Neville will take the stage at the Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center in Taylor at 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 7th. Tickets range from $30 to $50 and can be purchased by calling 734-374-3200.
