"BBC Children in Need Rocks" Concert to Air on SiriusXM

BBC Radio 1 special broadcast to air on satellite radio: the concert featuring performances by Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Michael Buble, Snow Patrol, Hugh Laurie and others

NEW YORK, Nov. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sirius XM Radio (Nasdaq: SIRI) announced today that it will broadcast "BBC Children in Need Rocks" concert, a live music event created to help change lives across the UK. The concert special will air on 20 on 20, channel 3, on Thursday, November 17 at 8:00 pm ET.

"BBC Children in Need Rocks" will feature performances by Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Michael Buble, Snow Patrol, Hugh Laurie, Elbow, JLS, James Morrison, N Dubz and Ed Sheeran. The concert, which will be hosted by Radio 1 hosts Chris Moyles and Fearne Cotton, is also scheduled to feature special guests including actor David Tennant and never-before seen surprise collaborations.

BBC Children in Need currently makes grants to 2,000 voluntary projects, community groups and registered charities who offer practical, lasting support to children and young people experiencing poverty, deprivation or homelessness, suffering from illness, abuse, distress, or neglect, living with learning difficulties, sensory or physical disabilities, or behavioural or psychological disorders.
