Jose Format Stations in Albuquerque, NM; Riverside-San Bernardino, CA; Denver, CO and Sacramento, CA Achieve High Ratings in Arbitron Summer 2011 Survey
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Oct. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Entravision Communications Corporation (NYSE: EVC) today announced that its hit radio program, "El Show de Alex 'El Genio' Lucas," achieved notable audience shares in the Albuquerque, New Mexico and Sacramento and Riverside-San Bernardino, California markets during the morning drive time in Arbitron's Summer 2011 survey (July-September 2011).
On KLYY-FM Riverside-San Bernardino, "El Show de Alex 'El Genio' Lucas," was the highest rated morning drive show regardless of language among Persons 6+ with a 6.7 share of all listening, Adults 18-34 with a 9.4 share, and Adults 18-49 and 25-54 with an 8.3 share in both demos. These audience shares represent the station's highest since it began subscribing to Arbitron in Spring 2009. The Riverside-San Bernardino metro is the 9th largest in the nation when ranked on Hispanic P12+ population, according to Arbitron.
On KRZY-FM Albuquerque, the show was the number one Spanish-language morning drive radio program in the market among Persons 12+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54, topping all other Spanish-language radio programs in the market. Most notably, the station achieved a 5.3 share in the time period among all Adults 18-49, the highest share KRZY-FM achieved going as far back as Spring of 1999, or 49 consecutive Arbitron surveys.
In other markets carrying the radio show, KJMN-FM Denver achieved a 3.2 share of the audience, up 113% over the Spring 2011 book in Adults 18-34 and a 3.8 share on KXSE-FM in Sacramento is up 81% over Spring 2011 in the same demo.

The show, which began syndicating on Entravision's Jose format stations in April, includes everything from jokes to humorous, congratulatory phone calls; to listeners' favorite segments with Don Pito Loco, Rosmar Vega, El Pecas, Mario Flores, Alfonso Lopez, Katrina, Andy Valdez, sports updates with David Faitelson, and El Genio's famous reflections.
"El Show de Alex 'El Genio' Lucas" currently airs on Entravision's Jose radio stations in nine markets, including: KLYY-FM Los Angeles; KJMN-FM Denver; KVVA/KDVA-FM Phoenix; KXSE-FM Sacramento; KRZY-FM Albuquerque; KSEH-FM El Centro, CA; KBZO-AM Lubbock, TX; KNVO-FM McAllen, TX; and KTSE-FM Modesto, CA.
