LOS ANGELES, Aug. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Marketing Arm, a next-generation promotion agency that topped Promo magazine's "Most Creative" list for 2010, has named Stephanie Cohen vice president of business development for its Davie Brown Entertainment practice.

In her new role, Cohen will work with new and existing agency clients to develop marketing programs which promote their brands via entertainment properties, including film, television, music, gaming, and content.

"For nearly two decades, Stephanie has worked to bring together brands with entertainment properties for promotions that tap into the emotion of movies, television, and music," said Lewis Henderson, Davie Brown's chief executive. "She strengthens our ability to deliver big ideas to our clients across all of the emotional platforms."

Cohen joins The Marketing Arm/Davie Brown from Universal, where she spent nearly 18 years, most recently as vice president of Universal Studios Partnerships. During her career, Cohen has worked with a number of leading brands, including Burger King, Anheuser Busch, Walmart, MasterCard, Best Buy, iHop, and Toyota.

"I look forward to leveraging entertainment to help our clients expand their brand equity and reach new consumers," said Cohen, who began her career working in advertising and marketing at A&M Records. "Whether music companies, movie and television studios, game developers, or celebrities, The Marketing Arm and Davie Brown have a clear understanding of how to align brands with the entertainment properties that engage consumers and drive bottom-line sales."
