NBR Worldwide Appoints Hudson Managing Editor and Co-Anchor of Nightly Business Report

NEW YORK, July 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- NBR Worldwide Inc., the producer of PBS' award-winning Nightly Business Report, today announced that as part of its ongoing efforts to streamline operations and maximize resources, Tom Hudson has been appointed to the newly-combined position of Managing Editor and co-anchor of the nation's most-watched daily business news program.

Mr. Hudson has co-anchored Nightly Business Report since 2009. Since joining the program, Mr. Hudson has reported on topics such as Federal Reserve interest rate policy, corporate governance and shareholder activism. Prior to co-anchoring Nightly Business Report, he was host and managing editor of the nationally syndicated financial television program "First Business."

Mr. Hudson previously co-anchored morning drive for the former all-news WMAQ-AM radio in Chicago and has served as a member of the adjunct faculty in the Journalism Department of Columbia College in Chicago. Mr. Hudson has been awarded two National Press Foundation fellowships, one for the Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists in 2006. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Iowa and is the recipient of several professional honors and awards for his work in journalism.

As Managing Editor, Mr. Hudson succeeds Wendie Feinberg, who is no longer with the company. Additionally, as part of the program's ongoing effort to streamline operations, the position of executive vice president of special projects, last held by Rodney Ward, has been eliminated.
