GlobalWorks Wins 2011 Communicator Awards for Cablevision and U.S. Bank
NEW YORK, June 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- GlobalWorks Group announced today it won three Communicator Awards in the 2011 competition recognized as the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals.
"When you realize that your work has been selected from among thousands of entries, it really hits you that great creative has a way of rising to the top, no matter how crowded the field," said Anna Radzievsky, Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of GlobalWorks.
"We're especially proud of the teams--and the combined efforts of agency and client--that contributed so much to making these honors possible," Ms. Radzievsky said.
The Winning Entries
-- Cablevision--iOe TV spot "Jukebox", the highest honor, Award of
Excellence, Entertainment Category
-- Cablevision--Optimum Voice World Call TV spot "Theater", second highest
honor, Award of Distinction, Telecommunications Category
-- U.S. Bank--S.T.A.R.T. campaign, Award of Distinction, Advertising

Said Inaki Escudero, Global Creative Director of GlobalWorks: "The Cablevision
awards are terrific, but what they don't reveal is that the work appeared successfully in two languages--Spanish and English--both from the same agency." Cablevision is the eighth largest cable provider in the U.S.
Echoing that theme, GlobalWorks Director of Client Services Jose E. Velez-Silva said, "The U.S. Bank campaign created by the agency targeted not one or a few but a total of 12 different cultural segments--Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Filipino, Somali and Hmong, in addition to Farsi, Polish, Russian, LGBT, African American and Hispanic." U.S. Bank is the fifth largest commercial bank in the U.S.
