OC Fair Announces 2011 Concerts and Rodeo Events

COSTA MESA, Calif., Feb. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The OC Fair (July 15-August 14, 2011) has announced concerts and action sports events for its 2011 season. As always, concert and action sports tickets include free Fair admission. Select shows are on sale February 19.

Concerts in The Hangar to go on sale include: Aeromyth - The Ultimate Tribute to Aerosmith (Wednesday, July 20), No Duh - The Ultimate No Doubt/Gwen Stefani Concert Experience (Friday, July 22) and two shows of Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez (Sunday, July 24, 4 and 8 p.m.).

Reserved seats in the Action Sports Arena to go on sale include two dates each for Extreme Rodeo (Wednesday, July 20, and Friday, July 22) and Bull Riding (Thursday, July 21, and Saturday, July 23). Reserved seats for Fiesta Del Charro (Sunday, July 24) will be available for purchase. Non-reserved seats are available free with Fair admission.

Tickets for these events go on sale Saturday, February 19, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster or at the OC Fair & Event Center Box Office, which is open Saturdays 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

The 2011 OC Fair, themed LET'S EAT!, is July 15 - August 14 and will bring 23 days of food, rides, exhibits, animals, music, action sports and fun, as well as the popular Season Pass, Pacific Amphitheatre Summer Concert Series, The Hangar and Action Sports Arena. The Fair is open Wednesday-Sunday. The OC Fair was ranked the eighth highest-attended fair in the U.S. last year by Venues Today magazine.
