Verizon Launches Anime Network on FiOS TV VOD
Popular Anime Channel Now Available on Demand to FiOS TV Customers
NEW YORK, Dec. 14, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon's FiOS TV customers now have on-demand access to the cultural phenomenon of Japanese animation known as "anime," with the launch of the Anime Network on FiOS TV Video on Demand. Now available to all FiOS TV subscribers, the Anime Network offers at least 45 hours of original programming every month, with new content added every week. Anime Network is available on demand to FiOS TV customers for $6.99 a month.

Anime Network offers a variety of hit shows on demand, such as "High School of the Dead," "Samurai Girls," "Xam'd," "Canaan," "Blue Drop," "E's Otherwise," "Kino's Journey," "Glass Mask," "Maria Holic" and "Legends of the Dark King."
Anime Network joins FiOS TV's extensive VOD service, which offers 18,000 monthly titles including 3,300 in high definition. FiOS TV also offers a broad collection of programming that includes more than 520 all-digital channels with up to 140 HD channels, as well as next-generation interactive services including an advanced interactive media guide; social networking, news and entertainment widgets; DVR management via broadband or select cell phones; and more.
