Contest Entry Phase Has Been Extended to Sept. 20

WHAT: The entry submission phase of the Sound Off About Pertussis song contest has been extended until Sept. 20.

WHY: As confirmed cases of pertussis, more commonly known as whooping cough, and pertussis-related deaths increase across the country, there is a clear need for education and awareness, especially among parents and those in contact with young infants. The Sound Off About Pertussis song contest entry phase has been extended to help increase pertussis awareness and motivate adults to help protect their families.
