Michigan Media Invited to Cover Gubernatorial Debate on October 10, 2010

Michigan's candidates for Governor will participant in one debate on Sunday October 10, 2010. The debate is sponsored by The 2010 Great Debates Sponsoring Coalition, which is comprised of more than 20 business, labor and nonprofit organizations, in collaboration with the Center For Michigan and Detroit Public Television.

The debate will take place from 7-8 p.m. and is offered for live broadcast to all Michigan public and commercial broadcasters. Moderators will be Detroit Free Press Editorial Page Editor Stephen Henderson and Detroit News Editorial Page Editor Nolan Finley.

Journalists will be able to watch the debate in an adjacent studio to where the debate will take place.
