Elite Endurance Athlete Traverses Globe, Pushes Physical Limits Over Grueling Terrain, Then Pauses to Explore Local Cuisine and Culture; ENDURANCE TRAVELER Debuts on FSN Thurs., Sept. 9
MIAMI, Sep. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Last year, Dean Warhaft traveled 125,000 miles by air, cycled 10,400 miles, ran 1,300 miles, swam 183 miles, in-line skated 1,200 miles. And that was just to prepare for his journey.
Join endurance athlete and world traveler Dean Warhaft as he takes you to the four corners of the globe, pushing himself through heart-pounding races, challenges and the most strenuous competitions. Then hang with Dean as he explores local culture and cuisine in the first weekly sports/travel series on FSN. ENDURANCE TRAVELER debuts Thursday, Sept. 9 and airs every Thursday at 3:00 and 5:00 PM. (Check local listings.)
The intensity of racing is countered by the fun of Dean's travels. In Season One, he competes in South Africa, Puerto Rico, Austria, Mexico, Jamaica and Switzerland, plus hits tough events in Florida, Kentucky, and Georgia.
After being amazed at the competitions, be Dean's companion on an African safari, drink rum in Puerto Rico and bourbon in Kentucky and take a free fall off the world's highest bungee jump.
While you're catching your breath, Dean will set off on another insane endurance challenge.
"This series is specifically designed so viewers feel they're not just on a journey, they're a part of it," said Warhaft.
About Dean Warhaft
Dean Warhaft is the host of FSN's new series ENDURANCE TRAVELER. He put his career as a successful attorney on hold to chase his dream, spending every penny and four years of his life to create ENDURANCE TRAVELER.
At 19 years old, Warhaft started his endurance quest, entering the Honolulu Marathon solely for the free t-shirt. With almost no training, he barely finished, spending days recovering in bed. Not fully healed, the University of Hawaii student hobbled back out to do better, and never stopped running!
Warhaft has raced an incredible 32 Ironmans and over 30 marathons among countless other achievements. A Miami-based attorney, he holds a law degree from the Seattle University and Professional Land Surveyors license.
