"Ugly Americans" follows Mark Lilly (voiced by Matt Oberg), a social worker at the "Department of Integration," as he helps new citizens, both human and "other," adapt to the hectic life in New York City. There are easier tasks than weaning vampires off blood, socializing land-whales and housebreaking werewolves, but Mark is up to the challenge. Between his stressful job, a zombie roommate and a demon girlfriend, Mark's lucky if he can sneak in a few minutes of sleep!
David M. Stern and Daniel Powell are the executive producers of "Ugly Americans." Aaron Augenblick and Cory Bobiak serve as animation directors, with animation by Augenblick Studios and Cuppa Coffee Studios. Lisa Leingang is the executive in charge of production for COMEDY CENTRAL.
In "Nick Swardson's Pretend Time," Swardson takes the viewer into his goofy world through a series of sketches including the adventures of a jealous man whose mother left her estate to the family cat as well as sketches inspired by the Internet sensation "Gay Robot," which follows the life of a gay robot and his frat boy friends. Swardson's world of make-believe incorporates every reach of the imagination - from time travel accidents to a pirate crew's unfortunately located treasure map.
Nick Swardson, a multi-talented actor, stand-up comedian and writer, was first recognized for his stand-up at the young age of 18. Swardson taped a one-hour COMEDY CENTRAL stand-up special "Seriously, Who Farted?" in Austin, TX that aired on October 11, 2009 which premiered to over 1.2 million viewers, as well as two COMEDY CENTRAL half-hour stand-up specials, his first in 2000 at the age of 22 and his second in 2006. He is also well-know for his recurring role as "Terry" in COMEDY CENTRAL'S "RENO 911!" He also recently wrapped the feature films "30 Minutes or Less" with Danny McBride, Jesse Eisenberg and Aziz Ansari and "Just Go With It," starring with Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman. He has appeared in many films including "Blades of Glory," "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" and "You Don't Mess with Zohan." He also co-wrote and appeared in "Grandma's Boy" and "Benchwarmers."
"Nick Swardson's Pretend Time" is co-created by Swardson and Tom Gianas, who is the director and co-writer of the series. The series is executive produced by Swardson, Gianas, Doug Robinson from Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions and Culver Entertainment.
