Borders stores nationwide to host 'Seuss-ical' Celebrations Sept. 18
ANN ARBOR, Mich., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Borders and PBS KIDS are teaming up to promote science learning among preschoolers. Borders is leveraging its position as a trusted destination for kids entertainment and education to create awareness among customers of the PBS KIDS series "The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That" with an in-store "Seuss-ical" celebration Saturday, Sept. 18, exclusive online content and more. Airing now on PBS stations across the U.S., the stories guide characters on adventures where they make natural-science discoveries, from how bees make honey to why owls sleep during the day. The program is based on the acclaimed "The Cat in the Hat Learning Library" series, which engages preschoolers in the process of scientific exploration and discovery through classic Seussian rhyme and illustrations.
