Marc Mysterio Sues Brandy for allegedly reneging on deal to feature on lead single 'Shout It Out'

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Marc Mysterio and his Stockholm-Based management Joia Records, are seeking up to $6,000,000 for "Breach of Contract" from Brandy Norwood for breaching a deal to feature on 'Shout It Out', the lead single from Marc's forthcoming album 'Redemption'.
Papers were filed this morning at The Central District of the Los Angeles Superior Court.
For over 10 years, Joia Records, has been the pre-eminent name in house music attracting elite talent, including: Eric Prydz, Steve Angello, Axwell, and Sebastian Ingrosso. Top 10 Hits to their credit including 'Feel The Vibe' by Axwell, while their global label-partner network includes: Universal, Ministry of Sound, Cloud9Dance and more.
Marc Mysterio (Canada) is one of house music's most recognized personalities. He recently re-juvenated the career of 80s pin-up pop-star Samantha Fox when she was featured on his own hit single 'Tomorrow'; co-written/co-produced a track for Grammy-Winning DJ Roger Sanchez' forthcoming artist album; and even Guest DJ Appearance on Judge Jules' BBC Radio 1 Show.
Brandy was next.

However, despite invoicing, receiving and confirming a $10,000 side-artist fee; Brandy's manager/cousin Ryan Ramsey reneged on the deal, refusing to send over the vocals for her verses.
Mysterio's Attorney Laurence Clarke is very confident his clients will come out on the winning end of their case:
"They had a contract, it's quite clear what the arrangement and terms were -- they were supposed to provide (vocals.) Marc and his colleagues are very established globally, and already made arrangements for international commercialization with Major Label Partners like Cloud9Dance (NL) whom also release music from Cascada, Agnes and Lil Wayne."
