Customers Can Win Tickets to Exclusive Concert Events in New York City

FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines is partnering with Columbia recording artist John Legend and The Roots to produce a three-part private concert series this fall. The American Airlines John Legend and The Roots Concert Series, to be held in New York City, will feature three exclusive performances at the Bowery Ballroom and Music Hall of Williamsburg.

American will launch a variety of promotions to highlight each concert, giving customers the opportunity to attend these great events. The first concert will be on Aug. 30, and will involve a ticket sweepstakes highlighting American's social networking site BlackAtlas.com.

Customers can find out details on how to obtain tickets to the second and third concerts, held on Sept. 7, 2010, and Nov. 9, 2010, respectively, by following American Airlines through its Social Media channels - www.facebook.com/aa and www.twitter.com/AAirwaves (@AAirwaves).
