To mark the upcoming romantic comedy release "The Back-
up Plan," starring Jennifer Lopez and Alex O'Loughlin,
CBS Films will disperse special branded taxis around
NYC for one day offering free rides within the borough

Scripted by Kate Angelo, "The Back-up Plan" follows a single woman (Jennifer Lopez) who decides to take matters into her own hands to answer her ticking clock, only to see her back-up plan turned on its side when the man of her dreams (Alex O'Loughlin) shows up at the same time as her positive pregnancy test results. They first meet upon hailing the same taxi cab on Park Avenue.

The film is directed by Alan Poul ("Swingtown," "Six Feet Under"). Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch ("The Pursuit of Happyness," "The Taking of Pelham 123") are producing through their Escape Artists banner. Rodney Liber and David Bloomfield are executive producers.
