Jack Morton Set Design for MLB Network Wins Emmy

Agency's PDG design group takes home its 17th Emmy

BOSTON April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Global brand experience agency Jack Morton Worldwide has been awarded its 17th Emmy Award, for a set created for MLB Network.

Jack Morton's in-house broadcast design team, Jack Morton PDG, has already won 16 Emmy Awards, including one Sports Emmy.

The award was for Outstanding Production Design and Art Direction for the "MLB Tonight" set created for MLB Network, which launched on January 1, 2009. Architectural features include a multi-tiered, curved Plexiglas walkway, a rotating main anchor platform and a 35 x 7-foot rear projection wall.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) announced the winners of the 31st Annual Sports Emmy Awards at a special ceremony at Lincoln Center in New York City on April 26th.

The award recognized a production design team that includes Jim Fenhagen and Joe Lamberta of Jack Morton; and John Entz, Chris Mallory, Tony Petitti, Tony Santomauro, Michael Sheehan, Susan Stone, Karen Whritner and Gary Fippinger of MLB Network.
