Latest Widget Bazaar Application - KODAK Gallery Widget - Lets FiOS TV Subscribers View Photo Albums and Slide Shows on the Biggest Screen in the House
NEW YORK, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- FiOS TV subscribers can now enjoy online KODAK Gallery photos and slideshows on their TV screens, thanks to a free new widget from Verizon.
The widget gives registered KODAK Gallery users instant on-screen access to photos and slideshows they have stored on Kodak's online digital photo service. This includes photos from friends and family that have been linked to the subscriber's KODAK Gallery account.

"Bringing your personal photos to life on your home-entertainment system takes your enjoyment to a much higher level," said Shawn Strickland, vice president, marketing for Verizon Telecom. "Every background and every person becomes larger than life. Plus, sharing photos with others becomes much more fun in the comfort of your family room. Our latest widget makes it easy to reach out and enjoy your KODAK Gallery photos on the biggest screen in your home - the TV. It's another interactive feature from Verizon that cable can't deliver."
To access the new free service, subscribers visit the FiOS TV Widget Bazaar applications marketplace and use their remote control to click on the KODAK Gallery icon. They then use an onscreen keyboard to enter their Kodak username and password to log into the service. As with Verizon's other widgets, subscribers can enter a four-digit personal identification number to bypass the username and password login.
"Whether it's flipping through a photo book, presenting a photo gift to a friend or family member, or watching your pictures on TV with the new FiOS TV KODAK Gallery Widget, Kodak offers many easy ways for Gallery members to share and enjoy their pictures," said Victor Cho, vice president and general manager of Internet and software services, Eastman Kodak Co. "KODAK Gallery is one of the only online photo sites to store images in their original high-resolution format, and through this partnership we are able to bring these bold, beautiful high-resolution color photos straight into your living room," Cho added.
