Fandango Launches Palm Pre Movie Ticketing and Information Application

The Leading Moviegoer Destination Launches on Pre as Advance Tickets for Transformers 2 and Harry Potter 6 Go on Sale

The application allows mobile moviegoers to watch trailers, view movie photos, read fan reviews, use the phone's GPS to locate theaters closest to them, find showtimes and seamlessly buy tickets for a movie at any one of more than 16,000 screens across the U.S. In addition, the application allows movie fans to easily add movie information to the device's integrated calendar and forward showtime details to friends and family.

Film fans can also create a reminder to let them know as tickets go on sale locally for upcoming movies (such as Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, on sale now in select cities), guaranteeing them access to the season's hottest flicks.
