Nationally Syndicated Weekly TV Shows Expands Bi-Coastal Production Plans
NEW YORK, June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- American Latino Syndication (ALS), a wholly-owned division of Los Angeles-based LATV Networks, announced several in-house promotions for the production of their two award-winning national TV shows, American Latino TV and LatiNation. In addition, beginning this Fall production of the two shows, which are going into their 8th and 6th seasons (respectively), will now be more equally split between their New York and Los Angeles studios.
"With everything Los Angeles has to offer in terms of production, it only makes sense that we would begin to more fully realize the synergy between LATV and ALS," said David Morales, LATV Vice President and Executive Producer of American Latino TV and LatiNation. "Being on the air in syndication for as long as we have is a rare achievement, and this move insures that our shows continue to grow and set the standard for excellence in reaching the largest and fastest-growing population in the Hispanic market, U.S-born Latinos."
In addition to expanding the bi-coastal production arrangement, ALS announced the promotion of several key staffers. Erica Soto has been elevated from Show Producer to Supervising Producer of both syndicated weekly shows while overseeing the day-to-day creative aspects of LatiNation. Erica will collaborate closely with Julio Pabon, who was promoted to Show Producer of American Latino TV. Pabon was formerly a segment producer based out of New York, but will transfer to the Los Angeles facility in early July.
Other production changes include: Segment Producer Mercedes Sanchez will now be responsible for the quarterly American Latino Presents specials, as well as web content production, and Producer/Editor Pablo Barrera will take on additional duties in animation and editing.
American Latino TV and LatiNation, award-winning, English-language Latino themed TV programs are part of LatiNation, LLC, and a subsidiary of LATV Networks. They are seen in over 100 cities nationwide as well as the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. For more information, please go to www.AmericanLatino.tv.
