4th Fridays with Ford Concert Series Returns to Campus Martius Park Alto Reed to Headline the June 26 Event

DETROIT, June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Ford Motor Company is proud to present "4th Fridays with Ford" at Campus Martius Park June 26 with headline performer Alto Reed and the Detroit Classic Rock All-Stars taking the main stage at 8:00 pm.

4th Fridays with Ford is an all-day celebration of Detroit through music and the arts taking place at Campus Martius Park on the fourth Friday of each summer month (June 26, July 24 and August 28). Presenting sponsor, Ford Motor Company will have current production vehicles, interactive games and product specialists on hand in the park as well as a classic Mustang display in Cadillac Square.

The June 26 celebration kicks off with a Lunchtime Arts concert on the main stage at 11:30 am featuring performers Roots Vibration and Maza.

Happy Hour takes place from 4:00 to 6:00 pm with live music performed by Karen Bosco and the People Next Door.

6:00 pm marks the start of a mix of music and dance performed on the main stage in a tribute to Motown's 50th Anniversary featuring a powerhouse band led by Edward Gooch (road musician for The Miracles and The Four Tops) and Robert Jones (Funk Brothers' musical director) with featured vocalists Belita Woods (Parliament Funkadelic) and Delbert Nelson (Funk Brothers).

The music and entertainment continues through 7:30 pm as the Ford Halftime Show commences featuring give-a-ways and raffle prizes from presenting sponsor Ford Motor Company. 4th Fridays with Ford guests will have the opportunity to win tickets to Ford Championship Weekend in Homestead, Florida in November. The winner will also receive a $1,000 VISA gift card for travel expenses.

June headliner, Alto Reed and the Detroit Classic Rock All-Stars take the main stage for a live performance at 8:00 pm.

The Motown theme continues at 9:30 pm with the film "Standing in the Shadows of Motown" shown on the big screen. There will also be a free walking tour led by Inside Detroit. This walking tour will end up at the official Inside Detroit After Party, which will be a different downtown bar or restaurant for each 4th Fridays event offering special discounts. The June 26 featured establishment is Bookies Bar & Grille at 2208 Cass Avenue.
