ABC to broadcast championship finals live in prime time
WASHINGTON, May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The semifinal and championship rounds of the 2009 Scripps National Spelling Bee are staged today in Washington, D.C.
Who: From a field of 293 spellers, 41 semifinalists remain
When: Thursday, May 28:
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT (semifinal rounds)
8 p.m. to 10 p.m. EDT (championship rounds)

Nationwide, viewers can follow the Bee live:

p.m. EDT. SportsCenter Anchor Chris McKendry will host the ESPN

rounds Thursday, May 28, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. EDT. Emmy
Award-winning television personality Tom Bergeron will host the ABC
