Rare Showing of Original Pinocchio Art and New 'Disney View' Panels Painted for the Blu-ray Widescreen Format by Animation Artist Toby Bluth

Research Library in a gallery setting in honor of the March
10th Blu-ray and DVD release of Pinocchio: 70th Anniversary
Platinum Edition. This live glimpse of the timeless art is
a one-night-only occasion because of the delicate condition
of the artwork. The original art housed and protected in the
Animation Research Library which is not open to the public,
is rarely available for public viewing.

Be the first to see a display of the newly created 'Disney
View' panels featured on the Pinocchio Blu-ray and meet panel
artist Toby Bluth.

Pinocchio, Walt Disney's second animated feature, debuted 70
years ago with vibrant hand drawn animation, universally
loved music like the Academy Award(R) winning original song
"When You Wish Upon a Star," and a touching story that made
it an instant classic. Introducing audiences to the magical
favorites of Pinocchio, Geppetto the puppet maker and the Blue
Fairy, Pinocchio also marks the screen debut of a character
who became one of Disney's signatures: the fast-talking,
wisecracking Jiminy Cricket.

Pinocchio: 70th Anniversary Platinum Edition will be released
on Blu-ray and DVD March 10, 2009 from Walt Disney Studios
Home Entertainment.
