With more than 70 Million Votes Cast so Far, ABC's LOST on Track to Win 'Show of the Year' Award

TV.com Experiences Over 500% Growth in Video Views and Streams in October, Making it a Leading Destination for Content and Community

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- TV.com today announced preliminary results from its Best of 2008 Awards, where it asks its audience to vote on their favorite TV Shows and characters in categories like Drama, Comedy, and Action Adventure during the past year. So far, the Awards have received more than 70 million votes, a testament to TV.com's active and engaged community of TV fans. LOST currently leads the way for "Show of the Year" award and HBO's TRUE BLOOD is currently tracking to take the award for "Best New Fall Show." Final results of the Best of 2008 Awards are slated to be announced on Dec. 17, 2008.

TV.com also reported today that the site has experienced record growth in video views and streams. According to Nielsen October VideoMetrix, over the past year, TV.com had a 587% increase in unique viewers and a 542% increase in video streams. In addition, total minutes streamed grew year-over-year by 1,955%, while streams per user grew by 206%.
