X Factor Judge Gives Last Minute Vote to...Cats!
LONDON, December 9/PRNewswire/ --
- With Photo
X Factor Judge Dannii Minogue has just donated her pop-tastic
'paw print' to Cats Protection's Celebrity Paws Auction, which comes to an
end just a few hours before the X factor final this Saturday (13 December).
The Aussie songstress is among nineteen cat loving
celebrities, including actor Robbie Coltrane, TV presenter Fearne Cotton,
sports stars Sally Gunnell and Joe Cole, who have kindly donated their 'paw
prints' in a bid to raise money to help unwanted and abandoned cats and
kittens across the UK.
Currently at the top of the Celebrity Paws Auction is fellow
Australian Rolf Harris, but organisers say that Dannii's paw could grab the
number one position by Saturday.
Kate Bunting, the charity's PR Manager, said: "It's fantastic
to get the support of Dannii Minogue for this year's Celebrity Paws Auction,
especially as she is so busy with the X Factor at the moment. Obviously she
has every chance of being this year's number one seller but with bids coming
in every day, who knows who'll end up with the top spot!"
Each celebrity was asked to draw round their hand, decorate it
and then sign it to create a unique item. The auction is being run through
EBay and will finish on Saturday 13 December. Everyone is encouraged to log
on via http://www.cats.org.uk/celebritypaws to view the full list of paw
prints available.
