NEW YORK, Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Nickelodeon Kids and Family Group's portfolio of digital sites will close 2008 in first place among all kid and family web destinations, based on its monthly average of 131 million visits and total of 2.4 billion minutes in time spent (source: comScore U.S. Media Metrix). Nickelodeon Kids and Family's portfolio of gaming sites also produced a monthly average of 22 million unique game players and totaled 20 billion game plays for the year (source: Omniture SiteCatalyst) -- reaching more visitors than any other portfolio of online gaming sites.

of 131 million visits, and a collective total of 2.4 billion minutes.
The digital sites averaged 27.1 million unique visitors per month in
2008.

monthly average of 22 million unique game players and 20 billion total

Highlights of Nickelodeon Kids and Family Group's individual digital properties in 2008 include:
-- The Nick sites collectively had their highest month ever in March
2008, delivering increases of +27% in visitors (11.9 million), +32% in
visits (36.6 million) and +16% in page views (318 million).
-- Nick.com led among kids' websites in unique visitors for the
months of March (10 million) and April (8.7 million).
-- The 2008 Kids' Choice Awards, which generated 89.3 million online
votes and 1.7 million unique visitors, 2 million visits and 27.1
million pages views, led Nick.com to its highest trafficked day
ever on March 29.
-- iCarly.com had its best month ever in June with 3.4 million unique
visitors.
-- In 2008, Nick Jr.com and NOGGIN.com combined are the number-one
pre-school and parenting sites in terms of total average monthly
unique visitors (5.6 million in 2008) and time spent per visitor (2
hours).
-- NickJr.com had a record-breaking month in November 2008, reaching
6.2 million unique visitors (up +32% over November 2007), and
averaging 114 minutes in time spent per visitor (up +31%).
-- Noggin reached an average of 1.8 million unique visitors in 2008
(up +44%).
-- Neopets remains the number-one stickiest youth entertainment site with
more than 2.5 hours of time spent per user. The site added 8.6
million new users in 2008, increasing the total number of registered
users to 53 million, and generating a total of 2.6 billion game plays

-- AddictingGames hit new site records in 2008, including: 11.1 monthly
unique visitors (up +23% over last year's like time period) and 52.9
