Former President of Time Warner Cable Media Sales Joins Viamedia Management Team

LEXINGTON, Ky., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Viamedia, the cable industry's leading independent cable rep firm, announced today they have named former President of Time Warner Cable Media Sales, Larry Fischer, as their Vice President / General Manager for their New York market.

Fischer has an extensive background in the cable advertising sales industry. He held the position as President of Time Warner Cable Media Sales from May 2002 until 2007. In that role, he was responsible for all advertising sales operations at thirty-two (32) in-house Time Warner Cable Divisions throughout the country. Fischer was also responsible for national advertising spot sales having established sales offices for TWCMS in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Detroit, Kansas City, Atlanta and Washington, D.C.

Fischer comes to Viamedia most recently from SweetSpot.tv where he has been a media sales consultant since 2007.

In his role as Vice President/ General Manager of New York, Fischer will be handling the day to day oversight of Viamedia's three sales offices in the New York DMA.
