IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- CallTek Center International Inc., ("CallTek"), today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Great Lakes Data Systems ("GLDS") to offer call center support to GLDS cable operators worldwide. Tighter budgets and a desire for 24/7 customer service have sparked growing operator interest in GLDS' lower-cost software solutions, as well as interest in outsourced call centers from companies who offer voice, video, and data services.

GLDS partnered with CallTek to complement its industry-leading billing, subscriber management, and provisioning software. Live operator support services, 24/7 network monitoring, and multilingual end-user technical support are now available to hundreds of cable operators who use the GLDS software. CallTek personnel recently completed training on the WinCable(R) billing system, in preparation for supporting small and mid-sized cable operators.
