Living in the Sky music video by Paul Korda and Allan Holdsworth celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the International Space Station
At a time when conflict between Nations could be spurred on by economic, territorial and global warming issues, the world needs to be reminded that with the exploration of Space, the planet Earth has a future that goes well beyond the disputes that wear down the fabric of civilization, and this future began when the International Space Station started it's first journey toward International cooperation on November 20th 1998 helping to heal the wounds of the Cold War. The orbital assembly of the space station began with the launch from Kazakhstan of its first bus-sized component, Zarya. The station is a venture of international cooperation among NASA, the Russian Federal Space Agency, Canadian Space Agency, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, or JAXA, and 11 members of the European Space Agency, or ESA: Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Singer and songwriter Paul Korda, whose song "Living in the Sky" won the Japan Expo in 1985, at the time recorded his song with UK guitar virtuoso Allan Holdsworth, and 23 years later the record sees the light of day with the posting of the video on YouTube to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the International Space Station.
