Five For Fighting's 'World' Featured In Sears 2008 Holiday Campaign

NEW YORK, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning this week, Five for Fighting's "World" will be featured in Sears' 2008 holiday campaign. "World", taken from Five for Fighting's 2006 release Two Lights, can be found in television spots promoting Sears' theme of granting wishes. The ad focuses on those who fulfill their own positive destinies, from celebrities such as LL Cool J and Vanessa Hudgens to normal, unknown American citizens, such as a disabled veteran, who overcome adversity and achieve ultimate success.

The reactions that gift-givers get when granting wishes is one of the common themes of the Sears campaign, and the focal point of the brand television spot. Launched on ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on November 4, the spot features actual customer wishes being granted and the incredible reactions that follow. Many of the customers and their families star in the ads. During the week of November 4, the ad also appears on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, NBC's The Biggest Loser, NBC's Phenomenon, NBC's Deal or No Deal and CBS's Kid Nation.
