Embarq Corporation Declares Fourth Quarter 2008 Dividend

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Embarq Corporation (NYSE:EQ) announced today that its board of directors has declared a dividend on the company's common stock. A dividend of $0.6875 per share is payable Dec. 31, 2008 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Dec. 10, 2008.
