Country Super Star Taylor Swift Stays Fearless With a Little Help From Milk
Swift Invites Fans to Interview Her Virtually at www.bodybymilk.com
WASHINGTON, Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Taylor Swift is one busy 18-year-old. Between graduating from high school, becoming a Billboard chart-topping country super star and scoring the CMA nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year, Swift has a hectic schedule. She knows that in order to keep up with her busy lifestyle, she needs to stay in top shape. That's why she includes milk in her diet, which, along with eating right and doing her favorite exercises like yoga, help her stay fit, lean and healthy.
Swift is the latest star to don the Milk Mustache as part of the Body By Milk(R) campaign, which encourages teens to drink three glasses of lowfat or fat free milk everyday, eat right and be active to stay lean and healthy. Swift joins the ranks of other top artists who have proudly worn the famous white 'stache, most recently including Miley Cyrus, The All-American Rejects and Rihanna.
"Signing on for the Body By Milk campaign is something I was really floored that I was offered," says Swift. "Anything that promotes good health is something that I believe in. Drinking milk is a priority for me."
Taylor Gets Personal With Her Fans
Taylor Swift is eager to share her secrets to success -- so she's inviting her fans to become Body By Milk Celebrity Reporters and interview her "virtually" about how she stays lean and fit, what it's like to be a Milk Mustache star or any other burning question they may have! Teens can log on to http://www.bodybymilk.com/ and upload a video of themselves interviewing the country super star. Swift will respond personally to ten teens and one lucky fan will even win her autographed acoustic guitar.
At http://www.bodybymilk.com/, teens also can check out exclusive behind-the-scenes videos, photos and interviews with Swift at her Milk Mustache ad shoot, grab the Body By Milk "widget" featuring the singer, download her new ad and wallpapers, and listen to her music.
Swift's ad copy reads: "Swift pick. In this business, you've got to be decisive. So I choose milk. Some studies suggest that teens who choose milk instead of sugary drinks tend to be leaner, and the protein helps to build muscle. So eat right, exercise and drink 3 glasses of lowfat or fat free milk a day. Music to my ears." The ad launches in People magazine's Country issue that hits stands on November 7.
