Lee, at the Grand Ballroom of The Pierre Hotel, 61st St., and Fifth Ave, NYC (enter on 61st St.) Reception starts at 11:30am; event ends promptly at 2pm. Each Year, Center for Communication presents the Frank Stanton Communications Award to an outstanding leader in the media industry. Under Ms. Lee's leadership, BET Networks has expanded beyond its image as a music-oriented network to become the preeminent brand in African-American media, now available in over eighty million homes around the world. Joining her in the celebration is Dick Parsons, acting as lead toaster/roaster.
