Academy Award-Winning Actor Morgan Freeman to Help Kick Off First Annual Blues at The Moon Music Festival at Golden Moon Hotel & Casino

WHAT: Academy Award-winning actor and Blues enthusiast Morgan Freeman will join the Choctaw Princess and Miko Beasley Denson, Chief of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians to kick off the first annual Blues at The Moon Festival, presented by Ground Zero Blues Club, at The Golden Moon Hotel & Casino. The Choctaw Princess also will be on hand to help officially begin the festivities.

Blues at The Moon takes place Friday and Saturday and features high-profile acts such as The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Solomon Burke.

Freeman is co-owner of The Ground Zero Blues Club, which is scheduled to open at The Golden Moon Hotel & Casino - part of Pearl River Resort - in early 2009.
