Taste of Downtown Burbank - A Feast for the Senses Happens October 2

BURBANK, Calif., Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Taste of Downtown Burbank hosted by Downtown Burbank Partnership and benefiting the Burbank Community YMCA returns to Downtown Burbank for the fifth consecutive year on Thursday, October 2 from 5:30 to 9:30 PM. Participants can stroll San Fernando Boulevard between Magnolia and Orange Grove and sample an enticing variety of the best cuisine that Burbank has to offer while supporting a great cause.

This fun-filled food festival showcasing Burbank's top eateries is a reflection of the lively downtown restaurant scene that has emerged in recent years. The event will feature a diverse mix of 40 restaurants serving dishes guaranteed to tempt everyone's taste buds. Thousands of guests will be able to feast to their heart's content knowing that their ticket is good for all food booths, and that 100% of money raised goes to the Burbank Community YMCA scholarship fund, which makes YMCA programs affordable to the entire community.

Be there when the air starts to overflow with tempting aromas from international favorites, and festive music fills the night. Featured acts include Phat Cats Swinger at 5:30 P.M. on the Main Stage located at Palm and San Fernando Boulevard, followed by City Beat at 7:30 P.M. Phat Cats Swinger is one of the hottest live swing bands to come out of the Southern California scene with a concentrated sound ranging from footstompin' jazz to a subtle tango. City Beat boasts a great vocal team, five blasting horns and a tight rhythm section that delivers classic tunes from the 50's to the present.

There will be dancing on the street, and attendees can swing with their partners under the spectacular multi-colored spider canopy soaring above the bustling intersection at Palm and San Fernando Boulevard.

TICKETS
