July Ecast BarPulse Shows Bar Goers Catching Mamma Mia! Fever While Beating the Summer Heat With Rap

Ecast Has Its Fingers on the Pulse of What's Hot in Bars and Nightclubs

NEW YORK, Aug. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- This month's rankings of new music played across the Ecast broadband media network show that bar audiences are in tune with the newest music trends and styles but still enjoy the classics.

Coming in at number one on the July Ecast(R) BarPulse(TM) is SRC Records' famed rapper and entertainer David Banner with his hit track "Get Like Me." Taking the second most played spot in July is hip-hop pioneer LL Cool J with his latest single "Baby." Surprisingly, the next two spots on this month's BarPulse go to the soundtrack from the hit summer movie "Mamma Mia!" While ABBA's music has always been a bar favorite, "Mamma Mia!" the movie has brought new life to ABBA classics with the Meryl Streep-led cast singing favorites such as "Mamma Mia" and "Dancing Queen."

The remainder of the July BarPulse reflects Ecast's audience music diversity with Country favorites Sugarland, rockers Hinder and Scars on Broadway, and Rap and R&B leaders Nas, Keyshia Cole and John Legend rounding out the chart.
