Winds of Leadership Announces Fund Raising Event

HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Visionaries of Harford County who are "uniting Leaders One Project at a Time" through a series of community projects will hold a folk rock concert featuring John Flynn and presented by Freedom Road Productions on May 17th at The Residents' Club at Bulle Rock, starting at 7:00pm. The Winds of Leadership is a new not-for-profit organization seeking worthy and beneficial projects in Harford County, then assembling the leaders necessary to make the projects a reality. Join the Winds of Leadership on May 17th to learn about their first two projects: replacing the main sail of the Skipjack "Martha Lewis" and planning a "Leadership Monument" to be erected in Harford County. You are also invited to share your ideas for potential Winds of Leadership projects.

Marlene Lieb, Harford Community College Associate Vice-President for Continuing Education, and Bill Seccurro, Harford County Chamber of Commerce President, made the following comment: "The Winds project is a true collaboration of talent, energy, creativity and resources. This is exactly what the College and Chamber had in mind when the Harford Leadership Academy began in 1991."

This friend-raising event for the Winds of Leadership will be held at The Residents' Club at Bulle Rock in Havre de Grace, off of Chapel Road, at 1200 Bulle Rock Parkway on Saturday, May 17th starting at 7:00 pm.
