Outdoor Channel Adds Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's Elk Chronicles to Programming Lineup

TEMECULA, Calif., April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Outdoor Channel, America's Leader in Outdoor TV, today announced the addition of Elk Chronicles to its third quarter 2008 programming lineup. Elk Chronicles is the official television show of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, premiering on Outdoor Channel on Thursday, July 3rd at 8:30 PM Eastern.

Elk Chronicles features outdoor adventures including hunting, wildlife, recreation and the history and heritage of conservation in North America. The show will have three airings per week: Thursdays at 8:30 PM and 11:30 PM Eastern and Tuesdays at 3:30 PM Eastern.

The Elk Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring the future of elk, other wildlife and their habitat. The Elk Foundation and its partners have permanently protected or enhanced over 5.2 million acres, a land area larger than Connecticut, Delaware and District of Columbia combined. More than 500,000 acres previously closed to public access are now open for hunting, fishing and other recreation.
