At Affinia's New York Hotels, the May Movie Release of 'Sex and the City' Sparks a Package Carrie Could Love
NEW YORK, April 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Sex and the City-starved girls who share Carrie Bradshaw's affinity for Champagne and Chanel can celebrate the May big-screen return of Sex and the City with a custom Affinia package designed with Carrie and her cohorts in mind. Coinciding with the May 30 movie debut, Affinia's four hotels in New York offer a Sex and the City package featuring overnight accommodations, a split of champagne, cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery, a Sex and the City tour by Screen Tours complete with a canvas shoe bag to protect any Carrie-like impulse buys, and borrowing rights to each hotel's complete Sex and the City DVD library. Starting at $389 for a studio suite and $509 for a one-bedroom suite*, the package is available from May 1 through Sept. 2.
In keeping with Affinia's brand promise of total customized comfort, the hotels invite SATC enthusiasts to tap their inner Carrie (or Samantha, Miranda or Charlotte) with museum tickets tailored to each of the main characters' interests. Fashion-fixated Carrie-types tour the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, while aspiring, sex-obsessed Samantha-types explore the Museum of Sex (naturally); art-loving Charlotte-types get tickets to the MOMA and Miranda-wanna-bes get a pass to the Museum of Natural History.
