Starz Entertainment Welcomes Randall McCurdy as Vice President of Affiliate Sales

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Entertainment, LLC today announced the appointment of Randall McCurdy as vice president of affiliate sales where he is responsible for developing strategies, tactics and programs to create interest, demand and recognition of Starz Entertainment and its products and services. He will work out of the Englewood, Colo. office and reports to Christine Carrier, senior vice president of affiliate sales for Starz Entertainment.

In his new role, McCurdy is in charge of supervising, managing and mentoring sales staff, affiliate relations, contract negotiations and securing marketing commitments from assigned cable distributors. Most recently, McCurdy worked for Ascent Media Group where he was charged with market development of on-demand solutions, as well as enterprise solutions for asset management and trafficking of video. His past experience includes the launch of new networks and advanced services including video on demand, personal video recorders and interactive television for companies such as Discovery Communications and Philips Electronics.

McCurdy is a long time member of the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketers and has been active in support of digital and on-demand committees. McCurdy is a graduate of Missouri State University where he received his bachelor's of science degree in marketing and management. He currently resides in Denver, Colo. with his wife Laura, daughter Jordan and son Lucas.
