Who Will Win Jager Ranch?
Competitors on Toughest Cowboy Presented by Jagermeister Vie for a Piece of the American Dream, the Deed to Jager Ranch
DENVER, Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Grit Rock Rodeo and AEG's Toughest Cowboy Presented by Jagermeister is a rodeo revolution and the toughest reality show ever. The cowboys are just beginning their wild ride in the most mentally and physically demanding rodeo competition on the planet -- all with one thing in mind -- to win Jager Ranch, nestled in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies.
All rodeos are demanding, but the Toughest Cowboy events require its cowboys to compete in three gut wrenching, roughstock disciplines each night -- bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, and bull riding -- all in match play against one another. The competitors of this ultimate competition deserve nothing less than the ultimate prize -- their very own ranch. These are the only cowboys in the world who dare to ride two broncs and a bull in the same night. And this is the only competition where the Champion wins his own ranch.
"I can't think of anything I want more right now than to have the deed to Jager Ranch in my hand," said 2006 PRCA Bull Riding Champion BJ Shumacher. "Right now, that deed is what keeps me going after the exhausting three disciplines each night of competition."
The deed to Jager Ranch will be awarded to the champion of the Toughest Cowboy series. The road to Jager Ranch, is a grueling nine competitions, concluding on February 16 in Columbus, Ohio. For those tough enough to make it to the Championship round, they will need to make a historic commitment to toughness and grit as they will compete and ride an unprecedented six times in one night (4 broncs and 2 bulls). In addition, fans watching at home will have had the chance to get to know each of the cowboys, their stories and what makes each of them so unique.
"We knew there is one thing that every cowboy wants, a ranch, and together with our friends at Jagermeister, we were able to make the ultimate top prize a reality," said Tommy Joe Lucia, Vice President of Grit Rock Rodeo. "The prize is sure to make this competition even more intense than it already is."
"Jagermeister is the perfect shot for a tough drinker so it's only natural that we'd support the toughest in rodeo. It's incredibly exciting to watch who will win the Jager Ranch. May the best cowboy win!" said James Verrier, VP of Marketing for Sidney Frank Importing, US importers for Jagermeister.
The 10-episode second season of Toughest Cowboy kicked off on January 4, 2008 and is televised on FSN weekly in primetime (check your local listings) and then replayed Saturday nights at Midnight. Beginning with Episode 2, each tour stop will be televised and will take fans into the heart of the action to savor the triumph, suffer the anguish, and share the intensity of the ultimate challenge that is Toughest Cowboy Presented by Jagermeister.
