United We Stand, Divided We Lose

The Dream Ticket Duet - Hillary & Obama

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- After hearing both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama use the phrase 'take our country back' at Democratic Party rallies, and watching crowd after crowd stand up and cheer, we knew it was time to write the song "TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK".

As professional songwriters we felt compelled to inspire Americans to embrace the spirit of our nation and unite behind both candidates to create positive change. We were encouraged by our video co-producer, a long time political activist, to think 'outside the box'. Many are starting to suggest that a workable positive solution would be to have both candidates on the same ticket, a complex yet plausible option at this juncture. We created this video for the 'dream ticket duet'.

So many of us feel that together they would be the dream ticket to 'take our country back' from the brink of disaster. Now is the time to celebrate having two great candidates and to focus on solutions to make our party stronger, setting a positive tone and reaching for higher ground.

Along with Howard Dean, Chairman of the DNC, who has hinted of this possibility, we're hopeful that enough people will start singing our song...realizing there is strength in unity...so that the dream ticket just might become a reality.

We were fortunate to have Kaitlyn Olson, making her vocal debut, and Dave Chamberlin record the song. They are the voices of the young looking to two great leaders to keep their eye on the prize and move forward together.

The video depicts the essence of America -- its people, its history, its greatness. The song expresses the hopes and dreams of all of us who have so much faith in our Democracy and the two candidates who can unite the party and win in November.
