Poll: Men are Last-Minute Valentine's Day Planners
Seventy percent of men say they are likely to wait until the last minute to make plans for Valentine's Day, according to the recent "Where's the Romance?" poll. The survey, commissioned by Caesars Pocono Resorts, asked men and women in relationships about romantic activities: gift giving, romantic plans and who is responsible for wooing.

The Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media Releases New Findings: Males Outnumber Females Almost Three to One in Films
Examining fifteen thousand individual speaking characters across mainstream movies, research by U-S-C's Annenberg School for Communication in association with the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media indicates that males outnumber females roughly three to 1 on the silver screen. The Institute examined four thousand female film characters and found that two types of females often frequent films: the traditional and the hypersexual. For example, females are over five times as likely as males to be shown in alluring apparel and are roughly three times as likely as males to be shown with an unrealistically "ideal" body.

U-S Internet Users Viewed Ten Billion Videos Online in Record-Breaking Month of December, According to comScore Video Metrix
ComScore has released December 2007 data from the comScore Video Metrix service, which measures online video viewing behavior. The December report revealed that U-S Internet users watched more than ten billion videos online during the month, representing the single heaviest month for online video consumption since comScore initiated its tracking service. Top-ranked video property Google Sites saw substantial growth and extended its video market share gains, now accounting for nearly one out of every three videos viewed online.
