Veteran Super Bowl Producer to Lead Production Team

NEW YORK, Feb. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- MSL Sports and Entertainment today announced that it will team up with one of the most recognized and respected live events production companies in the country, New York-based Michael T. Fiur Productions for the inaugural Gridiron Bash(TM), the Ultimate Fan Competition(TM), expected to be the largest sports and entertainment event ever to take place on college campuses.

Fiur Productions -- in partnership with MSL Sports and Entertainment -- will produce the events at some 19 universities on April 18, 2008. Gridiron Bash(TM) will feature live concert performances by two dozen top musical acts including Fergie, Kelly Clarkson, Good Charlotte, OAR, Counting Crows, ZZ Top, Maroon 5, Goo Goo Dolls, Dierks Bentley, and Dwight Yoakam. In addition to the live concerts at each campus stadium, Gridiron Bash(TM) will include a giant pre-concert Pep Rally, introduction of the 2008 team, Head Coach Chat, school football legends, and The USA TODAY Bash for Cash(TM) fan component, which gives fans the chance to earn money for their schools. Winning schools will be determined by combining total attendance at Gridiron Bash(TM) with the number of fans who text/call in to vote for their school. The USA TODAY Bash for Cash(TM) winning university will receive a $1 million contribution to their General Scholarship Fund, with 2nd and 3rd place schools receiving $500,000 and $250,000 respectively. In all, Gridiron Bash(TM) will generate an estimated $12 million+ for the participating schools.

In 2008, Fiur will also produce the Ceremonies and Entertainment for the 14-day US Open Tennis Championships and his 12th consecutive Arthur Ashe Kids' Day (CBS). Fiur will also produce the upcoming NetJets Showdown between Pete Sampras and Roger Federer at Madison Square Garden this March.
