FutureOf.TV Now Accepting Submissions and Beta Testers
SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- FutureOf.TV, Inc., announced today they are now accepting submissions for content in all genres of entertainment. They are also seeking beta testers for the initial beta test period, which they plan to launch in April.
As a new streaming, interactive, Internet television and radio company, they seek to promote the work of the emerging artist by providing new opportunities for exposure and making money.
The concept was born from the frustrations of one of the founders, Raymond Authier, while working on his master's thesis in digital cinema. "Film students have to invest their own money to create their work with little hope of seeing either mainstream distribution or a return on the financial investment," says Authier, Vice President of Content and Production. "We wanted something that would provide exposure and revenue so that our contributors can continue producing."
While the idea originated with a focus on film, the founders of FutureOf.TV quickly realized their submission benefits would appeal to all types of entertainment. They are now looking to include in their line-up music, comedy, animation, shorts, documentaries, and full-length features.
Paying contributors for providing content is a top priority for FutureOf.TV. "We believe that emerging artists are not being given their due," explains Aaron Gluck, President of FutureOf.TV, "which is why we pay our contributors before we pay our expenses or ourselves." Contributors are paid a percentage of collected advertising income right off the top.
FutureOf.TV invites artists who would like more information about submitting their work to register at http://submissions.futureof.tv/. Additionally, those interested in becoming a beta tester may register at http://www.futureof.tv/.
