Field of 64 Poker Pros and Celebrities Converge at Caesar's Palace for NBC's 2008 National Heads Up Poker Championship

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Show Partners, a worldwide leader and provider of broadcast television production, crewing, and design services announced its return to Las Vegas for the fourth straight year of production and show operations for the 2008 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship.

With player pairings scheduled for Thursday, February 28th, the one-on-one bracket-based competition continues through March 2nd, when a two-out-of-three championship match will determine the tournament winner with stated earnings of $500,000 in prize money.

As in the previous three years, the Caesars Palace Poker Tournament Room will serve as the backdrop for both new and returning celebrity players that include: Jason Alexander, Gabe Kaplan, Don Cheadle, Jennifer Tilly, Shannon Elizabeth, and Orel Hershiser, who will square off with the likes of defending NBC National Heads Up Poker champions Paul Wasicka (2007), Ted Forrest (2006), and Phil Hellmuth (2005).
