Jaman Congratulates 'The Pussycat Preacher'

Winner of Cinequest Film Festival Audience Favorite Award

SAN MATEO, Calif., Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Jaman.com, the leading online destination for American international and independent entertainment, makes available today the controversial documentary The Pussycat Preacher, which won the Audience Favorite Award at the Cinequest Online Film Festival, February 26th, 2008.

The Pussycat Preacher is a feature-length documentary on former stripper- turned-evangelist Heather Veitch and her ministry called JC's Girls Girls Girls. The expose is available worldwide on Jaman.com and has quickly climbed to be one of the site's most popular films.

The film is directed by Bill Day, creator of the 2005 documentary Missionary Positions, which follows two young pastors on a God-given mission to save the souls of the countless "sinners" held captive by the "porn plague" ruining America. Missionary Positions is also available for download at Jaman.com.

Day has been quoted as saying that the film is fashioned after the life of Jesus Christ. "It is really a story about the triumph of love over hatred," he says. "Jesus was notorious for reaching out to prostitutes and tax collectors. His love was unconditional. Yet, the first people to attack him were his own. Heather's story is a modern version of the same theme."
