Conference to Explore America's Health Challenges
TAOS, N.M., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Internationally renowned health professionals are joining forces at the 2nd Annual Intestinal Health Institute's (IHI) Higher Truth of Health Conference, April 3-6, 2008 in Taos, New Mexico. Research and practical guidance will be presented on some of today's most pertinent health issues including celiac disease, gluten sensitivity, natural health, extending longevity, and spiritual health.
Based on extensive medical research, IHI has determined at least 50% of all Americans develop reactions of the immune system to common dietary proteins, like gluten found in wheat, barley, rye, and oats. Reactions to gluten can lead to fatigue, depression, abdominal symptoms, malnutrition, infertility, osteoporosis, neurologic syndromes, growth failure in children, colitis, autoimmune diseases, and a risk of cancer.
The Founder and Director of IHI, Dr. Kenneth Fine, is the conference headliner. He is also the founder of EnteroLab.com, an online clinical laboratory, and FinerHealth.com.
Dr. Fine, who describes himself as a "Physician-Musician on a Mission" and "Dr. Natural" promotes organic "Live" food diets, natural health and living, spiritual methods, and creativity to optimize intestinal and overall health. He also is a singer-songwriter, having recorded six albums. He calls his music "Music with a Purpose: To Entertain, Educate, and Enlighten."
"Encouraging and motivating people to utilize more of their God-given gifts, is the best way to help them understand their purpose and to better themselves," said Dr. Fine.
