China Shen Zhou Mining & Resources, Inc. to be Featured on Phoenix Satellite Television's Chinese Business Leaders Series on February 15, 2008

BEIJING, Feb. 11 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- China Shen Zhou Mining & Resources, Inc. (American Stock Exchange: SHZ) ("Shen Zhou", or "the Company"), a leading company engaged in the exploration, development, mining and processing of fluorite, zinc, lead, copper, and other nonferrous metals in China, today announced that the Company will be featured on Phoenix North America Chinese Channel's weekly business show, called "Cai Zhi Quan Gong Lue," (or "Finance, Wisdom & Total Strategies"), on Friday, February 15, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. EST. The replay will be on Saturday, February 16, at 11:20 a.m. EST. The pre-taped program is in Mandarin Chinese and runs for about 16 minutes.

The Company's Chairwoman and CEO, Ms. Jessica Yu, will be seen interviewed on the program by Ms. Aitong Yu, a well-known personality on Phoenix Television and a regular host of the show, which focuses on entrepreneurial journeys and unique business strategies of the leaders at China's new crop of young and innovative firms. Past guests on the show include entrepreneurs from fashion, real estate, and fertilizer companies.

Launched on January 1, 2001, Phoenix North America Chinese Channel is the first Chinese-language channel that is available across the U.S. continent. It is carried by EchoStar and DirecTV and operated by Hong Kong-based Mandarin Chinese broadcaster, Phoenix Television.

The total combined viewership of EchoStar and DirecTV in the U.S. is about 17 million, of which 1 million is estimated to be Chinese-speaking.
