Freelance Editor Charlie Corts Bests Several Others In Contest

Contestants from the StudioNow Editor Network were presented with tracks to Dave's forthcoming album along with over 100 photos and video clips to turn into a final 3-minute piece. Over 200 qualified editors were invited to participate in the contest with 7 qualifying edits being presented to Razor & Tie for consideration.

Singer/songwriter Dave Barnes' Me and You and the World will be released on April 1st, 2008. The album features 12 soul-infused blues-pop-rock tracks produced by Ed Cash (Dolly Parton, Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman). His first single, "Until You," will be serviced to radio in February. Barnes will be performing on the first annual John Mayer "Mayercraft Carrier" cruise from February 1st-4th, 2008 with artists including Colbie Caillat, Brandi Carlile and Soulive.
